This includes in-depth interpretation and documentation of all anomalies inspected (Caliper, MFL, Ultrasonic, etc). The inspection data can in turn be compared to cathodic protection records, coating surveys, environmentally sensitive areas, watercourses and other pertinent historical integrity information to help determine the cause of such defects. The report summarizes all the events leading up to the inspection, during the inspection and all post inspection events that occurred. The report includes recommendations and summaries to properly document all the field information and inspection data collected. What most standard resolution tool vendors do not provide are those services or tools necessary to evaluate the interpreted metal loss cluster.
Corrpro has the resources necessary to carry out an ECA/Rstreng calculation on the defect clusters to determine the failure pressures. In affect, we can generate a repair program based on the nature of metal loss and its interaction. In the process of evaluating the survey, we provide / interpret the indications and try to add or expand on the report. We do this by defining items the inspection vendor may not call out or in our opinion may have missed interpreted. Doesn’t happen often, but has happened.
