Through C-Scan coating condition evaluation, detailed pin to pin holiday detection, and close interval potential surveys, an accurate picture of corrosion activity and coating quality is obtained.

The over-the-line crew also adds depth of cover information, and for natural gas systems Flame Ionization leak detection surveys.

All over the line information may be tied into Global Positioning Survey (GPS) technology so the survey "hot spots" can be precisely relocated by remedial crews at later dates and the survey information can be down loaded into the system database.

Completion of the Over-the-line Surveying is a natural project milestone.
